If you ever get flummoxed by a Sudoku puzzle then Sudoku Dragon can help you out. There are a number of ways to help you solve the puzzle ranging from a gentle word of encouragement (every allocation so far looks OK) to revealing the solution.

One Game | Hint option briefly shows any squares that have been incorrectly allocated. In the screen shot below one square is shown with their current (incorrect) allocations, all the other correctly allocated and the remaining unallocated squares are left blank.

Other Sudoku puzzle hints include a check that all the tentative possibilities you have marked in the grid are correct.

It is also very useful to check a particular possibility for a square. The Sudoku Dragon will automatically highlight the squares involved to explain why an allocation is possible or not possible. The grid hint screen stays open (until you close it) so it is always to hand.
