Sudoku Dragon is a sophisticated program that generates and helps you solve Sudokus on your PC. It is free for you to download and try.

Every day we publish unique, free puzzles on this site (Standard, Word, Samurai and Jigsaw types) that can also be picked up automatically with your news reader. All our daily puzzles can also be downloaded directly by the Sudoku Dragon puzzle solver.

The program provides diagonal (or X-Sudoku), Samurai Sudoku, Word Sudoku, Jigsaw (or Squiggle) Sudoku and Samurai Sudoku puzzles. A unique variation of the basic puzzle is provided here. each Sudoku can include the Sudoku Stripe - which adds a new twist to solving Sudokus.

It gives easy to follow explanations of the possible allocations for squares. This includes the twin exclusion, X-Wing and alternate pair strategies. It lets you download new puzzles or generate new ones. It has a full range of display themes to select a full range of colors and styles. It helps you find a solution to that frustrating Sudoku puzzle using a battery of analysis options. You can undo and redo square allocations which are listed for easy recall of what has been allocated so far. You easily backtrack after following a false lead, setting everything back as it was.
