Sudoku Help - Initial Settings

We now offer an alternative product only available for download from Microsoft Store. This shares many features but not all of them. For documentation of the SudokuDragon for Store version see its separate help section.

There are a few settings that you may like to set before playing Sudoku.

Some players like to hear sound effects while they are playing the game, others find it distracting. You can configure particular sound effects later on with the Options screen.

Sudoku Dragon provides a range of free guides for playing the puzzle. You can choose to show these before you begin playing the puzzle.

If you are re-installing the software you may not want to see the tips that are shown on application start-up. These tips introduce the various features of the software that you might not otherwise know about.

Before starting to use the software it is useful to check that you have the most recent version of the software so you pick up the most recent fixes and enhancements. If you are sure you have the most recent version you can clear this option.

When you have made your selections press Finish to complete the initial option selection and create your first puzzle.
