Help for Guides

Our guides take you through loads of different Sudoku solving strategies step by step. They are designed to be easy to follow. Each step has a navigation control bar beside the grid. Beneath this is a progress bar indicating how far you have reached through the guide.

Stop Pauses (stops) at the current step. Will stay on current step until another navigation control is used.

Play Controls whether the guide runs to the next step automatically.

Rewind Moves back to the first step.

Moves back to the previous step and stops on that frame.

Next Moves on to the next step and stops on that frame.

If the Stop Stop button is shown in blue the guide has stopped. Alternatively if the Play Play button is shown in blue the guide is running.
