Sudoku Help - Showing the State of Play

Here's a page from the extensive help system for SudokuDragon. It is displayed as a help screen when running the program. To get the full picture Download our Sudoku Dragon and see the screen in its full context.

It's sometimes useful to step back and look at the overall picture. You can add your own commentary on the game and this will be printed with the grid - so this is useful if you want to play offline.

The screen gives a summary of the situation at present. How much time has been spent, how many squares have been solved, where the puzzle file is stored and how many remain. Also gives an overall assessment of the state of the game - but it does not indicate whether a blind alley has been taken - you need to use a Hint to do that.

You can add however long a description you like and this will be saved along with any Sudoku grid square annotations when the puzzle is saved.
