Has anyone bought Carol Vorderman's bestseller book on Sudoku ?

It seems to have a lot of puzzles of various grades together with some work-throughs from start to finish.

I thought it was OK. There are lots of puzzles to do (200). Some of the medium puzzles were actually I found of quite 'Easy' level. I expected a bit more about Sudoku history but very is very little on this subject. It's printed on cheap, rough paper which wasn't all that pleasant to write on and difficult to re-use by rubbing out. I'd have liked more hints and suggestions on specific puzzles and better paper.

What is completely lacking are tips and strategies for dealing with really difficult puzzles. For these you may need to backtrack and I haven't seen any description of this at all.

Among the many Sudoku offerings is now a new book and DvD by Carol Vorderman.

It looks to have a puzzle solver and lots more information.

Has anyone bought it and what to they think?

Having bought the book I'd want to know whether it was worth getting before buying.

"The logic of Sudoku" by Andrew C. Stuart.

Here is a book with fully solutions helping to solve the hardest sudoku.

I didn t buy it yet but I will do soon !

May be someone knows it ?
